Meet the Designers

Matthew Stein (he/him) is a puzzle designer, violinist, printmaker, and treasure seeker based in Brooklyn. Formerly a software engineer at YouTube, Matthew started his puzzle design studio, Enigmida, in 2019. Matthew also has played over 500 escape rooms and is a writer for Room Escape Artist. Matthew plays fiddle with the klezmer trio Baymele and recently released an album of new Yiddish song, Kosmopolitn.

Lisa Stein (she/her) is a vocalist, cellist, and dreamer who currently works at Eden Village Camp, a Jewish organic farming camp, where she fosters radical inclusivity and love among brilliant young people and staff through imaginative programming. She is based in Philadelphia on Lenape land, where she performs with the Philadelphia Orchestra Symphonic Choir. A recent graduate of Wesleyan University

with a degree in music and religious studies, Lisa is excited to share her love of radical amazement and human connection in Escape the Plagues.

Adrian D. (he/him) is a digital visual artist from Guatemala / Central America. Besides working as a freelance artist on a variety of projects, he works as a college professor at the same university he graduated from, teaching digital art to upcoming artists. He loves exploring different mediums of art such as music and writing, and he has a special place in his heart for editorial projects and projects related to the printed media. Adrian loves sharing his passion for art through the classes and courses he develops for people starting their artistic careers. You can see more of his work at adriand.art.
