The recommended team size is 2-6 players. It’s possible to play solo, though the script and discussion questions are more enjoyable with a group.

Nope! Escape the Plagues is playable via video chat. Just make sure that there’s one printed copy of the game where each player/group of players is located.

Nope! Buying one download of Escape the Plagues gives you access to the game for your whole team. If your team includes players in different locations, make sure that there’s one printed copy of the game where each player/group of players is located. Please don’t share your PDF download with anyone outside of your team.

Once you’ve purchased a download of Escape the Plagues, print the 18-page PDF single sided and scaled to fit your paper size.

+ What equipment do I need to play?

All you need is a printer, a pencil/pen, and a pair of scissors. No tech is required to play the game. If you don’t have access to a printer, purchase the Mailed-to-You version and we’ll send you a printed copy of the game.

+ Does the game require writing/cutting?

The game requires cutting, but you can prepare this before playing. If your Passover observance includes not writing, the puzzles are still doable, just a little more challenging as you’ll just need to remember some extra things along the way.

+ Can I buy it as a gift?

Yes! Just buy a copy and then immediately forward the confirmation email to your intended recipient. Note: You can only purchase one Print-at-Home copy of the game at a time. If you're buying for yourself and as a gift for another team, make two separate purchase.
